Little Jo’s Day Nursery & Pre-School provides a secure, nurturing, and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and flourish. Recognising the critical role of early years in establishing foundational learning, the day nursery implements a comprehensive and thoughtfully designed curriculum that aims to maximise each child's experience and achievements.

Communication and language are central to their approach, and the team is dedicated to fostering individual interests, personal development, and natural curiosity, ensuring every child feels valued and supported. The highly qualified and experienced staff create a stimulating atmosphere that promotes learning through play, cultivates independence, and builds confidence, creativity, and motivation.

Children leave Little Jo’s well-prepared for school and ready for the next stages of their educational journey. Parents can be confident that their children are happy, well-supported, and in safe hands at the nursery.

Safeguarding and security are paramount, with robust procedures led by three trained Designated Safeguarding Leads and regular staff training. A monitored CCTV system is also in place across key areas to enhance safety and supervision, with strict adherence to Data Protection Regulations.

Pricing & funding

Fees are charged for morning and afternoon sessions, or full days, for children aged 0 to 5. Standard fees include meals and snacks but exclude nappies, wipes, and formula milk. Funded places are subject to voluntary contributions and separate charges for consumables, meals, and snacks.

  • Late payments may be charged at £1 per day.

We were so lucky to find Little Jo's. Our daughter attended for 3.5yrs. I can not give the staff enough praise. They go above and beyond for the children. Child led learning and play. Great communication with parents. We have really felt part of the Little Jo's family.

My son David is going here from August 2018. He wasnt sharing, speaking and knowing how to play in a group. He is 4 years now and he is speaking, counting, tells the Abc, he is drawing, he is tellig stories, he is eating there but not sleeping as there are lots of kids and you can not sleep. Plus he goes to toilet by himself and doesnt need my help. I trained him to use the potty and the staff helped as per my request.Staff is young and very professional. They are teaching kids lot of stuff: about sun and stars, stories, games, how to cook and clean, and how to behave as well. Indeed they are left to make choises and they are encouraged to be on their own and to express them self. Some of the staff is sweet while the others are more serious and balances the team. Food is nice. When the lady from the kitchen cooks it smells amazing. My son doesn't like my food anymore. Lol. 100 per cent I recommend this nursery and if i have more kids they will definitely come here.
