Little Learners Montessori Nursery in Edgware, North London, provides a nurturing environment for children aged 18 months to 5 years. Established in April 2004, the nursery prides itself on a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and a close-knit team, many of whom have been with the school for years.

The curriculum is strongly rooted in Montessori principles, fostering independence and a solid educational foundation. Children at Little Learners benefit from freshly prepared vegetarian meals and a variety of extra activities, including French classes and music sessions.

They are challenged by an interesting and thoughtful curriculum that places importance on complex mathematical concepts, such as understanding "halves" and "wholes". Children are extremely well prepared for the next stages in their learning and transitions, with staff transforming the home corner into a school and arranging for local teachers to visit the nursery.

Pricing & funding

Fees are calculated over 48 weeks per year, with no charges for the four holiday weeks. Charges apply for bank holidays and inset days. A 5% sibling discount is available. Written notice for leaving must be given on the first of January, May, or September.
