Little People Bramley, a childcare on non-domestic premises in Leeds (LS13 3EN), was registered with Ofsted on 16/07/2024. The nursery provides care for children aged 1 to 4 years, with a total capacity of 81 places.
Operating Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00, the setting was inspected on 17 March 2026. The inspection report highlights that while leaders and staff work with parents and external professionals to develop individual learning plans, inconsistencies in staff practice mean not all children receive the support they need.
The report notes that some children enjoy using trikes and 4-wheeled ride-along vehicles provided by staff to develop physical skills, and benefit from mark-making activities which help with hand-eye coordination. However, the quality of curriculum implementation and supervision varies, impacting learning opportunities for some children.
The report also indicates that while staff promote regular attendance and offer some opportunities for children to learn sharing and cooperation, these are not consistently available to all children.
Our ethos
At Little People we are committed to establishing a caring environment that promotes positive behaviour and relationships where children learn to treat each other with care and respect. We are an inclusive setting that supports all children as they take increasing responsibility for themselves and their actions, and consider the welfare and well-being of others.
What it's like
Children's safety and welfare are not given high enough priority, with safeguarding policies and procedures not consistently implemented. Children's health and well-being are not prioritised, as hygiene, eating, and sleeping practices are inadequate. Information and records are not properly maintained, impacting effective management. Children do not make expected progress due to a lack of individualised support and inconsistent staff interactions, limiting social skill development and emotional well-being.

Inclusion & environment
Children who face barriers to their learning and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) do not receive the tailored support they need. Staff do not consistently and effectively apply children's individual learning plans in practice. However, leaders and staff work with parents and external professionals to put individual learning plans in place to identify what children need to learn next and to plan activities and learning experiences that match their individual learning needs.
Our little boy has been going to Little People Bramley for 7 months and he loves it. The staff in the baby room really know him and he is so settled with them. He clearly enjoys being there. The updates we get on Tapestry clearly show his next steps and how the staff will support him to reach his targets. Communication is fantastic. All the staff in the baby room are amazing but special mention for Steph who is our son's key practitioner. She knows him so well and he is extremely well cared for. We couldn't ask for a more supportive environment for him.
Read on GoogleI do not recommend this nursery. When I reported that my family and I were victims of domestic abuse, instead of offering support or understanding, the nursery removed my son from their list. I was shocked and deeply disappointed by their lack of empathy and professionalism. A nursery should be a safe and supportive place for children and parents, but unfortunately, this was not my experience.
Read on GoogleI really loved this nursery for my little boy! They helped him develop so much with all skills and we was very sad he had to leave due to us moving away. They go above and beyond for your child, I really recommend this nursery, the staff are beyond amazing.
Read on GoogleMy Three children have been attending Little People Bramley since my first was one (he is now 6 and in year 2 of school). From the very first day they have been amazing. Always warm and welcoming, staff are brilliantly trained and will always listen and adapt to the needs of the individual children. The setting is always accommodating when our needs or days change and all requests received with positive professionalism. The support received during covid has been exceptional. I really can't recommend this nursery chain more.
Read on GoogleMy daughter started at Little People Bramley when she was 11 months old and has been going for a year now. The staff are all fantastic, so lovely with the children and really professional too. They do all sorts of different activities and my daughter loves going. Every member of staff we’ve ever dealt with has been great and she’s always been really well cared for. Can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for everything you all do.
