How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff skilfully identify and support children who need extra help to develop their speech. They have attended Early Talk training and use an early communication screening tool to identify delays and plan supportive interventions, such as signing, to help support younger children's understanding of the spoken word. Staff consistently model language effectively, which, along with small-group activities, helps children to quickly develop their communication skills.

Outdoor space

Children have wonderful opportunities to experience nature first hand. Staff regularly take children on walks around the surrounding farm fields where they observe nature and collect items to play with in the nursery. Children spend extended periods of time in the large outdoor area, experimenting and creating with resources such as stones, guttering, logs and bricks, which, along with bicycles, scooters and sit-on toys, helps them develop physical skills.

A wonderful nursery! Highly recommend! Our Son has been looked after amazingly ever since beginning at Little Pixies. From the baby room all the way to the big kids room. Staff are caring, thoughtful and attentive, with lots of information about their day when picking up. The building and rooms are well maintained, bright and vibrant with so much to do for the kids. The large outdoor garden is always in use and regular trips to Forest school thanks to its location is great. Our Son has a fantastic time every day he goes and we couldn’t be more thankful to the team. Our newest arrival is booked in to start there as well once ready. Thank you Little Pixies
