During my experience with this nursery, I felt that the leadership and overall environment did not meet the standards I would expect in a childcare setting. Communication often seemed unclear, and the atmosphere at times felt tense rather than calm and welcoming. In my opinion, a childcare setting should prioritize patience, fairness, and a supportive environment for both children and staff. Based on what I observed, I would not recommend this nursery.

My LO absolutely loves Littleways on Daisybank Road. The staff are so caring, attentive, and genuinely interested in the children’s wellbeing and development. From the moment we walk in, she’s greeted with smiles and warmth, which makes drop-offs so much easier. The environment is safe, clean, and well thought-out, with lots of engaging activities that really help her learn and grow. Not to mention the amazing green space and the chickens! Communication with parents is great too – I always feel updated and reassured about how her day has been. It’s such a relief to know she’s in a place where she’s happy, supported, and thriving. Couldn’t recommend Littleways Nursery enough!

Our little ones (two!) love coming to nursery and getting involved in all the activities and we get daily updates with pictures and blurbs. We get the feeling staff genuinely care and they’ve worked with us to help get them settled. If there have ever been concerns they are dealt with efficiently. They are a popular nursery and for good reason so we had to sign up a year in advance which is the case nowadays for the good places. Would advise the same to others and would recommend.

My son attended Littleways for 3 years and we couldn't be happier. It's been wonderful to witness his bonds with the staff and other children evolve and grow over the years. The level of care has been exceptional and his individual interests have always been nurtured. I love that the children are outdoors as much as possible, and the outdoor spaces are amazing. I genuinely feel he's now socially and educationally ready to start school. In short, it's a wonderful place with wonderful people

It’s hard to find a nursery with lovely staff, amazing outdoor space (they have a forest and also chickens!) and who are flexible with days and hours. Rooms are always clean in the morning. Staff are understanding and all food served is vegetarian (my little ones always have second helpings!). My two settled in fairly quickly. Managers are very approachable.
