What it's like to attend

• The manager and staff create a warm and welcoming environment where children independently explore the resources and make choices in their play.
• Staff are very responsive to children's needs and give lots of support and cuddles when needed.
• Staff are very nurturing and build positive relationships with children, giving lots of praise and encouragement to support children's confidence and self-esteem.
• Staff know the children well and plan fun and exciting activities based on children's next steps in their learning.
• Staff place a strong focus on developing independence skills, and babies confidently feed themselves at meal times and help with simple tasks.
• The manager and staff effectively support children learning English as an additional language, collecting words from parents and celebrating home languages.
• Staff build effective relationships with parents and involve them in their children's learning through an online application and special events.
• Staff effectively support children's physical development through sensory play, soft play equipment, yoga, and regular outdoor opportunities.
• The manager and staff regularly reflect on their practice and look at what they can do to improve the outcomes for children.
• All staff have attended specific baby training, demonstrating a good understanding of how to meet babies' individual needs.
