Inclusion & environment
Staff swiftly identify and help to close any possible gaps in children's learning. This includes children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. This helps all children to achieve superbly well.
Our son attended Busy Bees from the age of 10 months until he was about 2.5 years. Staff is friendly, professional, caring. We could clearly see him develop closed relationships with them, as well as with his peers. Child development is central with a range of daily activities to promote their manual and intellectual development. The low amount of staff turnover is testament of good management too. As parents, we did get daily reports which include meal, naps, activities and pictures. By the way, this is why staff may be on their I-pad, so feel free to ignore negative comments from the window watchers who have never set foot inside the premises. We have now moved to another area of town and can see the difference with the high standards set by Busy Bees and our new nursery. Keep up the good work!
Read on GoogleWe feel truly grateful to have found Busy Bees South Lambeth. Our daughter is genuinely happy there: she comes home full of stories and clearly benefits from the variety of activities and the daily time spent outside in the lovely patio space. The Montessori philosophy makes a real difference: we’ve watched our daughter grow in confidence and independence in such a natural and joyful way. Finally, we truly appreciate the strong sense of community and belonging here. The team makes a real effort to involve parents through thoughtful events, such as art exhibitions, Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations, and other celebrations like the beautiful World Culture Day, where families come together to share food and traditions. It creates such a warm, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels part of something special.
Read on GoogleOur son has been going to this nursery since August 24 (started at 1yo) and we are very satisfied with the quality of care they provide. Great communication and all the nursery teachers are great. Our son seems to be having fun and is happy going to nursery every day
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending Busy Bees Montessori Nursery for 1 year and I can state that my son is thriving. My son's communication skills and independence is advanced for his age, many people whom I do not know have provided me with compliments on my son's speech & language and manners. The teachers here are not just teachers they are my son's second parents and I uphold them to the highest standards as they treat my son exactly how I treat him. We love the daily updates of our son's progress and activities via the app. My son loves his nursery and loves all his teachers dearly, (Ms Allem, Ms Silvia, Ms Soraya, Ms Freida, Ms Marta & Mr Tom). I thank you all you for your continuous hard work with supporting our son.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending this nursery since he was 11 months and he’s now 31 months. The baby room and toddler room are amazing, full of caring staff who provide lots of varied and well thought out activities. The outside space is fantastic I and we particularly liked that each room had its own space so didn’t need to go-ordinate the different groups going out at different times (which we noticed at other nurseries) Also it was nice that (prior to lockdown) the different groups sometimes played together. The chef is super friendly and produces fantastic food my son loves and really takes on any feedback we’ve given. The nursery recently got refurbished and has a brilliant new manager. It’s small and intimate in feel which is so nice compared to some other more institutional style nurseries. I would recommend this nursery for anyone looking for a child-led, independence building, community nursery.
