How they support every child

SEND provision

Those who require additional help are extremely well supported to reach their full potential. For example, practitioners offer home visits to discuss progress and share strategies for learning with parents to ensure continuity and positive outcomes for their children.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy their time in the outdoor environment and hunt for bugs with binoculars and magnifying glasses. They proudly show their friends when they catch 'fat worms'. Children handle the insects carefully as they learn how to look after them.

Lovely homely nursery. Both my children have or our attending. They absolutely love it, it’s home from home. My eldest started at 2 weeks old and the nursery staff were fantastic as a first time mum kept me informed of her day. My youngest still currently there loves nursery days. Loves the fun and learning and seeing all her friends. She also loves the home cooked lunches they have. Recommend Margery’s for any age. Lovely caring and helpful staff.

Both of my boys have attended Margery's Day Nursery since 6 months old and I cannot recommend it strongly enough! They've both had the same key workers at each stage throughout, staff turnover is minimal (only 1 person has left in our 4 years of using the nursery, due to retirement I think) which we find when speaking with friends using other nurseries to be a rarity. This makes such a difference in providing consistency and support to children. Amazing range of activities that they do, very inclusive so they learn about all celebrations of all cultures, which is brilliant for their learning and awareness. Always coming home too with pictures, paintings and colourful creations! Staff so friendly and helpful, love the cosy setting and feel of the nursery. Really pleased with our children's progress, but also just with how happy and confident they are in themselves being there.
