Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs/and or disabilities are supported well. Staff work effectively with other professionals, to ensure that the child receives the best possible care. For example, health professionals train staff to meet the needs of individual children.

Outdoor space

Children happily engage in a range of games in the garden, such as 'what's the time Mr Wolf?'. Staff supervise children well, for example when they walk up and down the stairs to the garden.

EAL / language support

Staff plan activities to help children learn about different festivals throughout the year. They gain key words from families to support children who speak English as an additional language. This helps staff to communicate with children, particularly when they initially join. Staff provide plenty of opportunities for all children, including those who speak English as an additional language, to develop their communication skills.

Aw what a lovely little nursery! Cracked my daughter’s fear of the unknown (huge adults 😆) incredibly informative, so many nurseries just handover and say goodbye but the team at monkey puzzle are brilliant at telling you what your kids have been up to. Especially Lori, she always had a lovely story to tell of the day they’ve had. They’re great at updating the app with your children’s progress and upload pictures of their adventures! All the staff in general are fab and you can rest assured your children will have a brilliant time at Monkey Puzzle :) thank you Bonnie will miss you all so much!!

Our 3 year old son has been attending Monkey Puzzle Aylesbury for 2 years. He has loved it and had made many friends and loved his carers. The only reason why we didn’t keep him there for his pre school year. Is to try and get him to make friends with the kids that he will be a school with next year. The team have been fantastic over the past couple of years and have been an important part of his life and helping him to become the cheeky monkey he is today. Thank you for everything you have done. Would highly recommend putting your little ones in to this nursery/pre school.

Just had a tour of this nursery and was blown away by how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. I love the space they have and how light and clean all the rooms were. I managed to pop my head into the kitchen and the nursery cook confirmed that all the food is prepared freshly on site. I have to admit my tummy was rumbling with all the delicious smells! I particularly liked their HUGE interactive board that they use daily for learning, as well as being creative. Not seen that before in some of the nurseries I've looked at so far and I know my son would have so much fun with it. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for childcare in the Aylesbury area. Perfect location if you are heading our on the A41. They have car parking at the rear and the playground area is amazing. Lots of soft surfacing for little knees. A definite plus if my sons knees are anything to go by!

Stacey and the team clearly care greatly about the children in their care. We are blown away at how much they do with the children and how well they keep the parents informed of their children’s development and enjoyment of the nursery. They regularly organise social events for parents and the children to attend together which is great for meeting and interacting more with the team and the other families. A nursery that really cares, 5 stars.

My daughter absolutely loves attending this nursery and she did attend 2 others prior to this and since I moved her she super excited to go every morning. They have recently refurbished their garden and its amazing with lots to do in any weather with an app In place now i can check in on her progress, view photos and receive clear and informative messages about her. Stacey and Clarrisa are very friendly and professional and both are a credit to the MONKEY Puzzle team. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone
