Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and practitioners embed highly inclusive practice across the setting. They swiftly identify children who need additional support through ongoing observation, assessment and positive relationships with families. Staff receive training in the graduated approach, which helps them recognise emerging needs at an early stage and adapt support appropriately. Leaders carefully tailor support, review it regularly and adjust it as children's needs change to ensure that support remains effective. Children who receive additional funding benefit from targeted support linked closely to their needs. Practitioners skilfully adapt routines by using story props to maintain attention and providing small sensory items during group activities.

A nursery that truly go above and beyond for every child in their care. I had high expectations when I started my son here, based on various recommendations, but the nursery exceeded them. From conversations I’ve had with friends who have used other providers, no one does childcare quite like this team. They plan special activities, trips for the older ones and lovely end of year celebrations such as graduation shows. I always got a welcoming & ‘homely’ feel from the setting, and the progress our son made here was incredible; he settled quickly and loved coming here. They also did a fabulous job setting him up for school where he transitioned seamlessly. I wouldn’t consider anywhere else for our 2nd child who is hopefully starting this year!

This is the best nursery in Cheltenham, period. My son has been at this nursery since he was 8 months old. And he's now 18 months and a thriving toddler. Thanks to the caring staff who put their time and effort into making sure the kids are happy and confident and developing in their milestones at each stage. Its competively priced, clean and a very diverse enviroment. Every staff member always has a smile on their face even at the end of the day. And the manager Candice doesn't just hide in office like most would but I've witnessed her on many occasions out on the floorplate playing with the kids. They are all just wonderful people and my son loves being there. Drop offs are never tearful. And that says a lot!

My Ohana is outstanding, the kindness, care and attention they provide both of my children is unparalleled. My daughter is now in preschool there and started when she was 9 months. She has strong friendships and her learning has definitely been accelerated by the enabling activities that My Ohana provide. My son has complex needs and the team at My Ohana have shown me such kindness and support from the day he was born. He now attends too, is on a My Plan +. My partner works in a Cheltenham and although we could get a 50% off discount at his workplace, due to the quality of care we receive at My Ohana we will keep both of our children their and take the Financial hit. My children love the team and nursery their. Highly highly recommend!
