Inspector highlights
Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents praise the family feel of the nursery, stating that they have built lasting relationships with staff and the nursery has facilitated the building of relationships with other parents. Parents comment on the progress they have seen their children make in all areas of their development since starting at the nursery. Parents whose children are leaving to start school feel the nursery could not have done more to prepare them.
Inclusion & environment
Expectations and aspirations for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are high. Staff are passionate about identifying gaps in children's learning and implementing early interventions. Children with SEND are supported especially well in this respect, with staff developing effective strategies to support their individual needs. Where external support is needed, this is accessed swiftly to help all children make the best possible progress.
Giggles echo from the garden where a group of children investigate water. They pour and empty containers, then carefully refill them, playing together cooperatively. Another group of children in the garden complete a yoga session with a member of staff.
The significant focus on communication and language in the nursery helps all children, including those who speak English as an additional language, to develop confident language skills, so they are ready to access the whole curriculum. Children who speak English as an additional language benefit from staff learning about their home languages and traditions. Children are greeted in the morning in their home language and various languages can be heard being spoken to the children throughout the nursery. For those experiencing two languages, staff take the time to learn nursery rhymes as well as everyday phrases in the child's home language.
My daughter has been here for nearly two months now and is really enjoying it. She's made excellent progress and clearly loves the activities and how her carers engage with her. The food and menu look excellent and my daughter is nearly always full after collection - something which wasn't the case at her previous nurseries. We get regular updates on the app and lots of photos of our daughter, which is reassuring. The staff is warm and welcoming. Our family is delighted we chose this nursery for our child. Thank you guys. Please keep up the great work.
Read on GoogleN Family Club Maida Vale is the best nursery you could wish for your child. I cannot describe with enough positivism our experience for our first child there. First the N Family as a company is amazing. The way they are organised, activities, food, communication with parents. Everything is just so reassuring for parents and children. But the team at N Maida Vale is just incredible. Their expertise, kindness and dedication is impressive. We had to leave as we were moving, and it was not without tears and gratitude. I can’t just recommend N Maida Vale, but I would encourage any parent looking for a nursery to go and visit, and join them. You won’t regret it!
Read on GoogleI highly recommend this nursery (in fact, three children of friends started here after my recommendation). My daughter develops beautifully under their care. I wish there was an N Family Club branch in the new town we are moving to.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been going to this nursery for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. Everyone is so lovely. The menu is great and there are lots of activities. A shout out to Natasha, Juliana, Maria and Jade, you are fantastic.
Read on GoogleOur son has been going to the nursery for almost 2 months now and we absolutely love it! The place has opened earlier this year and is clean, tidy, well thought, has different section indoors and outdoors. The communication with the staff is very smooth through in-person touch points and via a dedicated app - the daily updates bring us a flow of joy. The meals are balanced and prepared on-site, making them fresh and varied. Eventually the staff is kind, well-trained and dedicated. It is a 5* for us and a definite recommandation for any parents in this area.
