The curriculum is broad and interesting, with children demonstrating their learning through lively conversations. Nanny Bears Childcare places importance on outdoor learning, where children confidently use the slide and engage in imaginative play, even referencing familiar story phrases like those from 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' while exploring the long grass.
Children are encouraged to develop both gross and fine motor skills through activities such as climbing, sliding, and manipulating dough, which aids in preparing them for early writing. Staff serve as excellent role models, promoting respect and understanding of differences among children.
They also support communication and language development through running commentaries during play and effective use of books.
