New Life Pre-School Daycare Centre, registered in 1976 and located in Wakefield, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0 to 5. The nursery, which is run by a registered charity and follows a Christian ethos, offers a bespoke curriculum and a welcoming atmosphere where children feel secure and confident.
With a strong focus on communication and language development, staff introduce new words and concepts through engaging activities, stories, and songs. The dedicated team of 11 childcare staff, including an early years teacher and qualified practitioners, ensures children receive excellent support.

How they support every child
SEND provision
Staff adapt their practice for children with limited language or with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), using techniques like bubbles and repeating words to help children. Leaders make timely referrals for specialist support to enhance children's development and ensure they make good progress.
Outdoor space
Leaders provide children with access to forest school environments when they do not have a garden at home, aiming for children to experience more to excel in their skills. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact on children's learning.

Our daughter loves going to nursery here. We feel relaxed knowing she is very well taken care of, entertained, socialised and taught about a wide range of interesting things. Not just doing the same activities day after day with bored carers who wish they were somewhere else. The carers, or aunties as they're known, are always friendly, positive and energetic. We know they are a great influence on the children who are lucky enough to spend time here.

Great nursery. Wonderful, dedicated and passionate staff. My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months and is nearly turning 3. Every member of staff or "Aunty " as the children call them shows a geninue interest in the your children, even though they may not be the key worker of the individual child. Every day I pick you daughter a get a mini update of her achievements for the day. A great setting and would highly recommend the nursery to other parents/carers.
