Inspector highlights

  • Children are developing a real love of books. They can find books in all areas of the provision and regularly bring them to an adult to share.
  • Parents are extremely positive about the learning opportunities and standards of care provided by the staff.
  • Carefully planned settling-in processes help staff to get to know each child before they attend.
  • Children have plenty of opportunities for climbing and balancing in the woodland area.
  • Children are becoming confident communicators. They are immersed in spoken language as staff constantly talk with them and sing to them.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders ensure that the most vulnerable children are well supported, including those with emerging special educational needs and/or disabilities. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Outdoors, in the woodland area, they enjoy physical challenges and test out ideas as they explore. Children have plenty of opportunities for climbing and balancing in the woodland area. Children are supported to safely explore the climbing hills and stepped areas, taking great satisfaction in their achievements.

I can’t fault this nursery at all! The way they nurture and prepare the children for school is phenomenal. Each and every one of the staff is amazing too, so gentle and kind. I will truly miss them here and can’t recommend them enough.
