• The constant exchange of information between staff members results in staff getting to know each child well, enabling them to build on prior knowledge and skills to reach full potential.
• Children's communication, language and critical-thinking skills are successfully promoted through staff modelling and questioning.
• Staff model how to use the internet and books to find out information, strategically including them in play areas.
• Children's good health, safety and independence are very well supported, with discussions on heartbeats, oral health, and tooth brushing.
• Children are actively supported to engage in planned group activities through sensitive coaching and gentle persuasion.
• Staff support children to manage and deal with their emotions, helping them learn that they cannot always have what they want immediately.
