It’s with a heavy heart I write this review, but for the sake of how my child has been dropped and refused a smooth transition out of the nursery, especially without having chance to say goodbye to staff and her little friends, has left me no option. My first comment is for the comforts being forced away from my daughter, causing huge amounts of anxiety which became apparent at home. This has had a lasting effect, as she now becomes extremely upset if things are taken away from her or she doesn’t have her comforts in sight. The second comment is for inappropriate comments made by staff members regarding my child. This made me feel like staff didn’t have the time of day or patience for my child and a reflection of their practice was needed. Both incidents were reported and dealt with by the lovely team leader but shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. My daughter was out of nappies at home - no accidents and would frequently come home with wet clothes. After a discussion with the team leader, potties for toilet training were not on hand and this was the cause for the accidents. After a stern conversation, there were no more accidents. After financial disputes, it became apparent one nursery owner was becoming annoyed and I eventually felt uncomfortable even bringing my daughter in on some days. Although I had repeatedly tried my hardest to get the dispute sorted, I was struggling and could not afford £1100 twice in one month. A change in hours with no notice or confirmation left me with having 2 days to arrange new child care. Due to such messing around, I provided notice and made an application for a different nursery. This resulted in my child not being allowed to attend her final month until a payment was made in full and still being charged for the refused sessions. Despite stated in terms and conditions I needed to provide 4 weeks notice. I’m so incredibly upset and will no longer be recommending this nursery. My daughter has been messed around or upset from the first month being there and it was apparent with the struggles I would have trying to get her into nursery with being so upset and disrupted, but to then deny her a goodbye from her little friends and staff that she liked is just disgusting and has left me completely distrustful with other providers. It’s clear that money is above the child’s emotional well-being in this instance and I hope no other child is treated the same way for a parent providing notice. On a more positive note, I’d like to thank Laura and Olivia especially, for making Ella feel so welcome and listening to any issues or concerns I had. You both deserve more credit and the nursery is lucky to have you. I’d like to thank Katie for your constant smiles and welcoming nature at the door, despite any feelings or thoughts to the financial difficulty.
Read on GoogleWhat a gorgeous nursery. My little boy started only three weeks ago and he already comes out of nursery upset because he wants to go back and play with Katie. If that’s not a rave review I don’t know what is. The nursery is beautiful, clean and there are so many fun activity areas to inspire the children. They also use a great app to update you through the day so you know your little ones are safe and well. Delighted with the nursery and can’t speak highly enough of it.
Read on GoogleNurture Grow and Learn is a brilliant nursery! All the staff are so caring, friendly and approachable and they all go above and beyond too provide excellent care in a beautiful, warm, happy and safe environment. They also provide a large variety of different activities and lovely meals for the children, I’m always kept up to date and informed of my sons activities through the day and i know he is well looked after. Thank you!
Read on GoogleI couldn't thank the nursery enough for everything they have done for my son. He's been with NGL for nearly a year and is off to big school in September. They have provided him with so many incredible experiences, he always leaves with a smile on his face and is the first one awake on a nursery day raring to go. Kind, caring staff, beautiful lay out and resources. Not your average nursery. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough.
Read on GoogleOur little one started at Nurture Grow and Learn a few months ago when she was just over 1 year old. I wanted to wait until she settles to write the review but I knew what I was going to say straight from the beginning. We couldn’t have chosen a better nursery for her. We visited a lot of (if not all 🤪) nurseries in Warrington. The attention we were given straight from day one was the most reassuring aspect of us choosing this nursery. I knew my daughter won’t be left without her needs being met at any time. We did a viewing during lockdown and Nurture, Grow and Learn were the most accommodative. They let us have a look around the whole nursery after the children have gone home. This allowed us to see how our daughter will progress in the different settings. All of their rooms were simple, cozy, clean and safe. There aren’t many plastic toys which I was happy about. Some of the nurseries we saw were so overstimulating even for an adult, let alone a child of that age. They do have a lot of activity stations/exploration areas. We have a “lockdown baby” therefore she was very attached to us in the beginning and it took her a few weeks to settle, however now she is absolutely fine. She waves me goodbye now at the door and goes in to play. The baby area looks so cozy and fun, my daughter started playing straight away. Their indoor outdoor area looks amazing as well and I know she will love it when she is a bit older. The only small disadvantage we found was the small outdoor space, however they go out on trips very often which I love. I think it’s important for children to spend as much time outdoors as possible. The Famly app - oh my god, what a godsend!! When I am at work, I get notifications which allow me to see she has been fed, changed and is happy and playing. Not that I ever doubt it but for worried mums, it’s such a nice reassurance to see a happy picture of your baby when you have left them at nursery. They also follow their policies and guidelines and get them updated as often as needed. Overall, 10/10 on care, environment, safety, hygiene and everything else really!! Thank you so much Nurture, Grow and Learn, we couldn’t have chosen a better place for out daughter.
