Oak Farm Pre-School is a committee-run charitable organisation providing high-quality, affordable childcare in Farnborough. They aim to create a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere where children aged two years and upwards can learn and thrive.
The preschool is dedicated to early years education, offering a stimulating and nurturing environment with a play-based curriculum following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. All staff are highly qualified and experienced, holding at least Level 3 Early Years Education & Childcare qualifications and having undergone enhanced DBS checks.
With over 25 years of service, Oak Farm Pre-School is committed to inclusivity, offering a full timetable of routine-based activities, including indoor and outdoor play, designed to equip children with essential skills and knowledge. They strive to adapt their activities and environments to suit the children's evolving needs and interests throughout the year.

What it's like to attend

Inclusion & environment
How they support every child
SEND provision
The support in place for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is effective. Staff work collaboratively with parents and outside agencies to put in place targeted support for children's learning. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) is passionate about providing positive outcomes for children and seeks to continually improve in her role. Consequently, children make good progress from their starting points, alongside their friends.
Outdoor space
While playing outside, children mix water and mud together in large bowls. The staff encourage the children to explore the texture, and they discuss what it looks and feels like. The children and staff decide to make dinner, talking about the different foods they are making.
