Inclusion & environment
Children benefit from a wide range of motivating and exciting opportunities both indoors and outdoors. They use rakes and spades to pretend to dig for dinosaur bones in the garden. They also go on walks around the local area to learn about road safety.
Our daughter attended this nursery for almost 2 years now. She absolutely loves it here, and it's wonderful to see how happy and settled she is every day. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure the children feel safe and supported. Communication with the nursery has always been excellent, and they keep us well informed about our daughter's progress and any updates. We feel confident knowing she's in such good hands. Highly recommend!
Read on GoogleI would thoroughly recommend Orchard Lea. Our son had a fantastic time there, they helped him build his confidence, social skills, and so much more. The nursery has a big garden with a lot on offer, they also have a very bright and welcoming inside space. There are plenty of resources, and the staff are setting up wonderful and varuious activities every day- lots of nature, sensory, role play activities. They have yoga lessons and go to forest school trips out of nursery. The staff decorates the nursery for every festival really nicely, and they really go for the celebrations, costumes and all. It is really sweet :) We are very grateful for all Orchard lea have done for our son.
Read on GoogleWe deeply appreciate the kind and caring work that Orchard Lea Nursery provided and continue to provide for our children. They are attentive and caring. From the moment our first child started there, we felt they were in safe hands. The detailed updates, both in-person and via the phone app are reassuring and insightful. The staff note down development and regularly update us on how our children are getting on. Highly recommend.
Read on GoogleOur daughter attended for 2 years and had a wonderful time. The outdoor space is great, the communication with us as parents was good, the meals were really varied and nutritious (it's been disappointing seeing school menus now!) but what made the experience so good for our daughter (and gave us peace of mind) were the key workers. There is a good number per group of children and they went above and beyond to make it a fun and warm experience for the kids - every day. They were so friendly. It's clear there's a really good culture there. Thanks all.
Read on GoogleMy 2 children attended Orchard Lea. It was a fabulous nursery that enabled them to thrive and develop. In addition to the nursery site, the children would attend forest school and go on trips to other places such as the library. The staff were great. They took such an interest in all the children and parents/carers could get detailed feedback of their child's day at collection time. The nursery also use an online journal for tracking children's development and detailing activities and events, which is very helpful. Overall, the children loved their time there and I highly recommend it.
