Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are extremely well supported, with the SEND coordinator working closely with parents and professionals. Inventive communication methods are used to help non-verbal children express their needs.
Outdoor play areas spark enthusiasm for activities like bug hunting and imaginative play, such as children creating a bus to "travel to the cinema".
Our two daughters have attended Paper Moon Day Nursery since the age of 2. Every team member stands out and the care my children have received is just exceptional. Our daughters’ developments have excelled in every possible way. The children thrive in such a loving warm environment where they know they can safely express themselves. They are given tools to be able to explain thoughts and feelings. The nursery uses positive reinforcement strategies such as ‘George pigs promises’ I absolutely love the structure of the nursery. The nursery has had such a positive impact on my children but also myself as a parent. At the end of each day we are given a detailed handover about what our children have eaten and done throughout the day. It is clear to see that all the staff love the work they do and genuinely have the best interests of the children at heart. We will soon be moving a fair distance from paper moon day nursery however, we will be going out of our way to keep our daughter at Paper Moon Day Nursery purely on the basis that I would be concerned with no other setting would be able to compare to the high standard of care and the safe environment the staff at paper moon provide. Thank you to the whole team at Paper Moon. Saima and the team are such a credit!
Read on Googlei have 3 children all of which have been lucky enough to be cared for by papermoon Nursery in the past 12 years. Natalie the Manager and every single employee is approachable, flexible and genuinely are so welcoming. As a working mum at times my job can be unpredictable and at times i have to alter things last minute, Natalie always tries to be supportive where possible and even when she cant accommodate it, is polite with delivery and always sorry ( not that its her fault with so many children and staff ratio's to consider!) It reassures me that she considers my sons safety at all times, like all the other children. I couldn't wish for a better nursery, my youngest who currently goes to papermoon, would get upset about leaving me, the staff have been so patient with him and i have so much reassurance when i leave him! Thankyou Papermoon. Highly Recommended xx
Read on GoogleBoth my children attend here, the women are fantastic, always happy, helpful and brilliant with the kids. Natalie (manager) is always very helpful with any issues or arrangements needed. I cannot recommend this place and staff enough. Both my children love going here.
Read on GoogleThe worst nursery i could sign my daughter to. In August they were cancelling session after session for a week , using the excuse that they don't have people, but children who's parents are paying for their session (my child has 15 hours funded) were allowed to stay ?? When i told Natalie (manager) that i can't pick my daughter again because i'm working (my husband as well) she made a very rude comment : SO NOW WHAT ? I WILL HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE WHO'S PAYING FOR THEIR SESSION?? Hello , Natali wake up , you were also getting money for my child from government! Administration promised to give back hours that they took from me, but they never did. I decided to give the nursery another chance. I brought her to pre school after half term, and guess what it turns out that NATALIE gave me wrong dates 🤦♀️ and my child should be back a week later. That's my first child and i don't know the dates, that why i begged Natalie for them (because when i signed my daughter in , giving me dates was also an issue because she is so busy) If that's your manager i'm really concerned about the care there that children are receiving. And outstanding ofsted rate ?? That's a joke, maybe with different manager, because Natalie definitely is not providing outstanding job 😅 This will be reported to ofsted. Luckily i have found an amazing place for my child , she is very happy now and keep asking me if she can come back to the new preschool and she doesn't want to go to the old one. Interesting. If you are a working parent DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD THERE! very unprofessional place.
Read on GoogleAmazing atmosphere and staff! My little girl flourished amazingly whilst attending Papermoon, I was treated amazing and was always greeted nice. I honestly have no negative words to say about the place, it truly is outstanding!
