About this early years setting

Partou Habergham Day Nursery & Pre-School, located in Padiham, Burnley, provides a nurturing environment conveniently situated for commuting families. The nursery focuses on fostering confidence and curiosity in children through a highly personalised early years education.

Given its relatively small size, the nursery delivers a unique and individualised experience. Many team members are qualified in Makaton, promoting inclusivity and supporting language and communication development for all children.

The nursery places significant importance on strong relationships with families, believing this collaboration helps children thrive. They host regular stay and play sessions and family consultations, ensuring parents are involved and informed about their child’s nursery journey.

An open-door policy and "Manager Drop in Afternoons" further facilitate communication and support for families, addressing concerns, providing feedback, and assisting with paperwork or signposting to helpful services. The nursery also features a professional baker as their chef, who engages children in baking activities, enhancing confidence, independence, motor skills, and numeracy in a fun way.

Partou Habergham aims to offer a supportive and nurturing setting where children can embark on a transformative journey of discovery and growth.

Our daughter has been attending since June this year and she absolutely loves it. She has settled into nursery quickly and built strong relationships with the staff, especially Katie and she loves being dropped off in the mornings. It’s fabulous to see her developing so quickly and thriving the way she is.

Such an amazing little nursery. A real home from home. My daughter first attended little people as a baby and progressed right through to preschool until the age of 4. Due to relocating, we left shortly after her 4th birthday, but we were sad to leave such a special place full of beautiful people, who genuinely care about the children. Highly recommend.

Both of my daughters have attended here since being 9 months old, the care and development of my children has been brilliant. I have always felt 100% confident that my daughters will be well looked after. They do a variety of activities. They have always been so happy to come to nursery every day. There has been a huge positive difference in the nursery overall since Lydia took over as manager, there seems to be new play equipment and rather than activities always being the same theres something new every day.

Excellent nursery. Staff amazing. My son Jacob was there from 9 months old and he’s now nearly 5 and starting school this week. He had his last day last Friday 29/08/25 and was a sad day. Going to miss nursery.

My son attended this nursery from April 2023 until this summer. I honestly can't fault the nursery, they formed a brilliant bond with my son and helped him with his confidence so much. Not only were they brilliant with our son but my husband and I felt the whole staff were very approachable with any concerns we had. I would recommend this nursery to all. Thank you so much again, Alfie's mum and dad.
