Inclusion & environment
The curriculum is designed to include all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The setting offers excellent support for children with SEND. Staff adapt their teaching methods based on each child's progress and feedback from other professionals, using specific strategies to develop attention skills and simplifying language to help children who are building their communication skills.
Enticing outdoor activities such as gardening not only teach children about how food grows but also develop their responsibility by caring for the plants. Plans are underway to enhance the outdoor play area with new climbing frames and to develop new allotments in collaboration with the local school. Meanwhile, leaders have already made some adjustments. For instance, they have installed a swing, sensory rooms both inside and outdoors and a large role play area. These improvements build children's physical and sensory development superbly.
What an amazing setting to send your children to!! I'm so glad that I chose to send my daughter here. The management team are extremely helpful and nothing is ever a problem or too big an ask. My daughter suffers with allergic reactions resulting in hives and I always had the whole teams full support and felt that she was safe in their care. Throughout her time at the setting she was offered a wide range of learning opportunities and it was a pleasure to watch her flourish. Everybody should send their child here! Thank you guys!!!
Read on GoogleI can’t tell you how pleased I am that we made the decision to send our daughter here. After a negative experience at a previous setting, we were feeling a bit anxious about putting our trust into somewhere new. Well, there was no need - they put us at ease straight away! We visited on one of the open mornings and met most of the staff. Every single one of the ladies is lovely, a special mention to Steph, Jade, Becky and Jane who she loves and mentions often! They have helped make my daughter so happy and settled in the rising 3’s and can’t thank you all enough.
