Peachcroft Pre-School is a well-established early years setting committed to providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 5 years old. The pre-school offers a diverse range of activities, including creative play, sand and water exploration, cooking, and outdoor adventures, all designed to foster children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Peachcroft Pre-School places a strong emphasis on a child-centred approach, recognising each child's unique pace of development and individual learning style.

The facility is equipped with various resources, including books, board games, and a computer with appropriate software, along with ample opportunities for imaginative play in designated areas. The pre-school is open during term time, offering both morning and afternoon sessions, as well as breakfast and lunch clubs to accommodate families' needs.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around morning, afternoon, and all-day pre-school sessions, with additional breakfast and lunch clubs available. Charges apply to children who do not receive government funding or for hours attended in excess of funding. Invoices are issued monthly and must be paid by the 25th of the month.

  • A non-refundable registration fee applies and includes a free t-shirt upon start.
  • Invoices are issued monthly via the EyLog System.
  • Payments must be received on or before the 25th of each month to secure the child's place for the following month.
  • Late payment and late collection fees apply.
  • Lunch club is free for children attending all-day or afternoon sessions.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Knowledgeable staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) well, and they are vigilant to any signs of delay in development. Children who need additional support with regard to their speech and language development are supported at the earliest opportunity, helping to secure swift progress. There is a strong emphasis on working with parents and other professionals to ensure every child has support tailored towards their individual needs.

Outdoor space

Children have abundant opportunities to play outside in the pre-school's well-resourced garden. Staff use the outside space well to enable children to learn about growing plants and vegetables. They harvest carrots, strawberries and pumpkins which they share and eat at snack time. In addition, children have a wonderful time rolling down grassy hills and whizzing along on balance bikes.
