Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"the staff are friendly and approachable and that there is a clear connection between the staff and children."
Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, are well supported by the caring and nurturing staff to make the progress they are capable of. Any additional funding the setting receives is used to support children's individual needs effectively.
Children have plenty of opportunities to play outside in the fresh air. They develop their physical skills as they race around on bikes, climb up the climbing frame and go down the slide. Children learn to take controlled risks.
Our son has been going to Pebbles since he was 10 months old, so nearly 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. The staff work really hard to make the environment an excellent place for fun and to further all the children's development. My son absolutely adores the staff there too, often asking if it's a day to see them when he wakes, which I think just shows how comfortable he is there. The building is a perfect setting, with a large garden with lots of toys and games to explore and inside is really homely. The food is cooked in house and the staff let us know what he's eaten throughout the day, he seems to love it. Very pleased we found such a nurturing, kind nursery for him, would not hesitate to recommend Pebbles.
Read on GoogleMy daughter (just turned 1) has been with Pebbles almost 2 months now and we are both very happy. Having not used a nursery for my eldest, I was nervous and apprehensive, but all the staff have been great (Nat especially!) at reassuring me, and keeping me in the loop with her progress. She's done so much better than I expected as she's very clingy with me, but she has taken to all of the baby room staff very quickly and I know she's being very well looked after and has built strong bonds already. Thanks Pebbles for making an anxious time seem a breeze! :) x
Read on GooglePebbles Day Nursery is amazing. My son started going here in September and at the start he really struggled with leaving me. All the staff were brilliant and he will now run in without looking back! I really enjoy the weekly photos we get sent which shows how much fun my son is having and how caring all the staff are to all the children in their care.
Read on GoogleExcellent nursery, staffs are very friendly, helpful and supportive. My son loves to go, and we are pleased to see him develop, explore and learn different things each day with the help of his key worker and teachers. Thank you so much to the team at Pebbles for the wonderful job you do. Highly recommended xx
Read on GooglePebbles have been amazing for my child. So much has been put into place to support him as he has autism he finds certain aspects of school life difficult. All the staff have really taken the time to really get to know my child and understand his interests and dislikes which helps to plan how best to support his learning journey. Staff are always friendly and try to also support the parents as well as the child. Highly recomended :)
