How they support every child
SEND provision
Staff spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They identify children who have delays in their development, and staff know what children need to learn next. Overall, they target their support effectively.
Outdoor space
Children have lots of opportunities to have fresh air and exercise. They enjoy being outside and develop good physical skills. Older children enjoy learning to balance as they ride scooters and do obstacle courses, and the younger children develop their walking and learn to go up and down the slide.

Our nursery closed down which absolutely the best thing to happen with our daughter as we had to find another and we would never have found Pirates & Princesses. I cannot praise the place enough and our daughter has progressed in leaps and bounds since going. Pete and Lisa are absolutely brilliant and they have found some real gems to work alongside them ( special mention to Kirsty) If you are looking for a nursery within a few miles of Keynsham I would have no hesitation to recommend Pirates and Princesses. If you are further away..... I would have no hesitation in recommending Pirates and Princesses 😜❤️👍

Our son has been going here for 3 months and we couldn't be happier! Lisa, Pete and the team are fantastic; he was made to feel so welcome and is given such a diverse programme of activities with such great facilities I think he'd happily go there everyday!!
