SEND provision

The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is a strength of the nursery. Outdoor space

Older children develop their physical skills well during outside play. For example, they handle real teapots and make peppermint tea, dig holes skilfully and confidently climb around an obstacle course.

My child started at Poppies Day Nursery a few months ago, and it has been an excellent experience. The staff are warm and welcoming, and they genuinely care about each child. My little one has settled in beautifully and is always excited to go to nursery in the mornings. The facilities are clean and well-equipped, and there is a wide range of activities for children to enjoy. The outdoor space is also great, and my child loves spending time there. I have been particularly impressed with the communication from the staff. They keep me updated on my child's day, and they are always happy to answer any questions I have. I would highly recommend Poppies Day Nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and fun environment for their child.

My son has been at Poppies since just before his first birthday and he absolutely loves it. The staff are all amazing. So warm and caring to the children (and emotional mums)! Seeing my now 3 year old son flourish under their care has been amazing. He loves going into nursery and loves all the staff, as do I. I could not recommend it enough!

Poppies have been absolutely amazing, even before our son started his sessions. The nursery manager was very understanding and supportive for myself and my partner. When our son did start attending at 9 months he settled in so well with the support of all the staff! He is so well looked after and loves coming to nursery!

Our daughter started at Poppies in Aldershot when she was just 22 months old and stayed for exactly a year until our recent relocation. This was her first nursery experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a more nurturing, supportive environment. She absolutely loved her time there and still talks about how much she misses it and wants to go back. All the staffs went above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming space, making her feel safe, happy, and engaged every day. We are so grateful for all the wonderful memories and the solid foundation you provided. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and professional place for their child to thrive. Having tapestry to keep track of their daily activities was a bonus plus photos. Thank you for everything!

My sons have been going to the nursery since a year now. They absolutely love it. We had a negative experience with childminders and fortunately found poppies :). They are kept busy, learn lots of things and have plenty of outdoor activity. They love the food as well :). Most importantly, all the staff are friendly and respectful, they get to know your children and care for them
