Poppies Day Nursery and Nursery School is located in a restored Victorian house in Knutsford. It provides care for children from birth to four years old. Babies have a separate area within the property's Coach House, and the day nursery has a large landscaped garden with play equipment and allotment beds. Children participate in excursions to local areas such as Tatton Park. The nursery is open from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, throughout the year and accepts tax-free childcare payments.

In its inspection of July 2022, Ofsted rated the nursery as Good. The inspector observed that children arrive happy and eager to attend. Staff provide a curriculum with a range of activities designed to develop communication skills through songs and stories, and physical skills through climbing and balancing. Activities can include rhythm time, Forest School, and mini sports. The inspector noted that managers strive for continuous improvement and that parents are very complimentary about the staff and their dedication.
