I’ve had three kids so this wasn’t my first time looking for a nursery. This nursery is genuinely amazing. My youngest is autistic and non-verbal, and even though this is a regular nursery, the care has been better than anything we’ve had before. The staff really get to know the kids and many of them are parents themselves which truly makes it feel like extended family. This place is rare, and I’m so grateful we found it. We’ve been here for quite some time now and I’ve no idea why it’s taken me this long to review! If you are on the fence about leaving your baby.. this is the place you need in your life.

A little haven for little ones in this big city. Julie is such a caring and enthusiastic teacher, she is a visionary and has a great nursery team to support and help the children learn and grow through play. The recent art exhibition event held for Black Histroy month just before the half-term was excellent and insightful. It was so lovely to see so many different people from all different cultures, backgrounds and ages enjoying the food and creative activities, resources and books on display. A real community feel, home away from home.

My son has recently started at POE at the age of 2 after leaving his old nursery and the difference I see in him now is amazing. To begin with I was nervous but the management and staff team really took the time to settle him and reassure me as a parent. He comes home and tells the whole house all of his friends names and what he’s done. At the weekend he wakes up asking to go to nursery and also asks to see the staff. He’s only been there a few months and already I’ve attended two events ran by the nursery, they celebrated Black history month, birthdays and we’ve been informed of upcoming events such as Christmas markets. The staff team are always updating me with pictures, observations and any updates from their app and who doesn’t like getting a notification on their phone to open it and see their baby enjoying his day at nursery. He has also developed so much in such a short space of time with his speech, numbers, colours and alphabet and I look forward to seeing what else he gets up to. I’m so happy we found POE and would like to say a massive thank you to the whole team.! ❤️

My daughter joined the Pre-school of Excellence last year at the beginning of the academic year. Since joining she has thrived in all areas and continues to excel. I was really nervous about sending my 2 year old to nursery for the first time, but when I went to visit back in the summer I was sold right away. The staff are so wonderful and truly have your child's best interests at heart (and us as parents). I have no doubt that she has the best time. Whenever I pick up my daughter she never fails to leave with a smile on her face. Thank you Pre-school of Excellence family : ) (Massive thank you Julie!) P.s. I wish Pre-school of Excellence had a primary and secondary school hehe. Xx
