Our ethos
Play is one of the main ways in which children learn. It helps to build self worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves. Because it’s fun, children often become very absorbed in what they are doing. In turn, this helps them develop the ability to concentrate.
What it's like
Children are exposed to a wide range of experiences and activities, learning about the environment, growing their own produce, and understanding life cycles. They form close bonds with nurturing caregivers who meet their individual needs, ensuring they feel safe and secure. Learning is tailored to individual needs, with staff knowing the children well and supporting them to reach their potential through a supportive key-worker system. Children display good behaviour, use good manners, wait their turn, and show empathy.
