Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress in their learning. Relationships with other professionals are well established and help to promote children's learning and development, particularly for children with SEND. Staff welcome expert advice and guidance to support their practice, which helps them plan comprehensively to ensure all children make the progress they are capable of.
Two-year-old children develop good creative and imaginative skills, making 'potions' from flowers, herbs and leaves in the outdoor area. Older children access the outdoor area at all times, and many choose to spend much of their day outside, enjoying large-physical activities such as building with tyres and planks and balancing on them.
Fantastic nursery, all staff are so lovely. Made my son feel very welcome. Took time and effort into getting observations and was lovely to see photos and updates throughout the day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nursery 😊
Read on GoogleRosedene Nursery has been absolutely amazing with both of my children, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and supportive with all the children and the families. They picked up on my son’s additional needs and helped me put everything in place for his education and sensory requirements and development. They are amazing with my daughter who now attends there and have and are continuing to help her with her own development and education. I honestly could thank and recommend them enough ❤️
Read on GoogleWhat a great nursery. Our daughter has developed at a rapid rate due to the hard work of the staff who listened to our needs and implemented these. Great selection of healthy meals. Communication is fantastic with updates and photos through the day using the app. So glad we decided on Rosedene and would highly recommend.
Read on GoogleBoth of my children have attended Rosedene Hemlington over the last 6 years, I cannot recommend them highly enough! My eldest went to Rosedene from 11months old right up until starting Reception at school and the transfer from nursery to school was very easy for him. My youngest is currently at Rosedene and will be until he starts Reception too. I chose Rosedene because I love their approach of teaching the children to use their imagination to play and learn with natural objects and bits and pieces rather than relying on plastic toys, both my boys loved building roads, bridges and towers and also cooking and playing in the kitchen area. Rosedene Hemlington is a wonderful, nurturing place!
Read on GoogleMy 3 year old absolutely loves going to Rosedene Hemlington. I was so nervous sending her in September, but the staff are all so lovely and seeing my little girl skip into nursery every day, puts my mind at ease. They use an app which you can use to track everything, from the child's journey with weekly snap shots to what they have eaten. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure the children have a fun filled day, with lots of laughs, care and experiences. My little girls confidence has increased so much over the last 6 months and Rosedene should take the credit for that! Highly recommend!!
