How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities effectively. They work closely with parents and external professionals to help them make progress towards their next steps of development. For example, staff make 'choosing boards' to help children make choices of what they would like to do next.

Outdoor space

Pre-school-age children play 'races' in the garden and make their hearts 'beat fast'. Staff sing to pre-school-age children while they are in the garden, and help them to balance on beams. Babies crawl over small arches, which builds on their core strength in preparation for taking their first steps. Pre-school-age children learn how to begin to manage their own safety and take age-appropriate risks in their play.

Fantastic nursery! I immediately felt comfortable here on our first visit. My son settled right in straight away and loves it! His key worker Anna goes above and beyond. The whole of the rabbits team are so lovely!

Excellent nursery, my two year old loves it so much that he has a toddler meltdown when it's time to leave! The staff are lovely in rabbits and made the whole process of starting really easy and made me and his mum feel less nervous about being away from him for the first time. Love that they use class dojo aswell to participate and see updates. Thankyou to all gooseberry Bush staff!

A good, flexible daycare nursery. My son always enjoys himself and comes home telling us all about his day. Only complaint is their billing leaves a bit to be desired as, on several occasions, we where being charged for another child with a similar name and had to sort this out.
