About this early years setting

15 pm, Monday to Friday, all year round. Children quickly develop strong relationships with staff and their friends, confidently engaging with visitors and kindly sharing toys.

The nursery fosters imaginative play and helps children build good self-esteem and positive behaviour. Children learn about the uniqueness of every individual, valuing and respecting that some friends have different needs.

Staff excel in promoting physical development, recognising individual needs and adapting the environment for safe risk-taking. Children are encouraged to persevere with challenging activities, for instance, confidently climbing and maneuvering in the geodome, and developing good hand-to-eye coordination through ball games with staff.

Children learn that they are all unique and that some friends' needs are different from their own, and how to value and respect these.

Outdoor space

Staff promote children's physical skills well. They recognise the individual needs of children and adapt the environment to help them to take risks safely, as they play. When activities are more challenging, staff help children to keep on trying, to successfully achieve new skills. For instance, children confidently climb and manoeuvre their bodies as they move around the geodome. They learn how to throw and catch balls with staff, gaining good hand-to-eye coordination skills.
