Inclusion & environment
Leaders have the absolute conviction that all children will succeed, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff work with parents and professionals to make sure that children get the support that they need to make good progress.
Outdoors, children develop their spatial awareness and coordination as they balance along beams and climb up the climbing frame.
It’s nerve wracking thinking of returning to work after maternity leave and picking a nursery. As soon as I visited Shine A Light I knew this was where I wanted my daughter to go. All staff are so friendly and the nursery environment is so clean and calm. All the staff work so hard and the activities are well thought out. When picking a nursery I worried about my daughters dietary requirements and whether anybody would be able to meet these. Shine A Light have gone above and beyond in meeting these requirements and I can’t thank them enough. I would highly recommend this nursery.
Read on GoogleMy little boy absolutely loves Shine A Light!! He looks forward to going everyday which is amazing for him! The staff are all super friendly and really get involved, we love all the personal touches and how we are always made to feel welcome. My son has settled in amazingly and we have seen a massive change in his communication and interaction with people outside the family. We couldn't recommend Shine a Light enough, fantastic place 🥰
Read on GoogleHighly recommend this place ! All staff is amazing and friendly, children are always the most important for them. Big and clean garden (children spend lots of time there), lots of lovely resources and ideas. Parents get feedback and photos during the day. My little one is struggle with food but she loves lunch and tea in Shine a Light. She starts eating vegatables there what was difficult at home. Also little ones get fruits during the day. Children feel like at home there ! They can have rest anytime during the busy day, unlimited cuddles and wear slippers like at home ❤️ You will feel friendly atmosphere from the main door ❤️ Managers and all staff are very welcome for all parents and children and what is very important - they always like that, not only in first day :) We are super lucky that we found this place ! Outstanding and more for us !
Read on GoogleExcellent nursery!! So glad I decided to send my little boy here since he started he’s come on leaps and bounds. The girls and I know how hard work he can be and nothing is ever too much for them. I can keep updated whilst he’s there with the Famly app which tells me pretty much everything he’s got up too that day. Best nursery and would highly recommend ❤️❤️
Read on GoogleCannot reccomend Sine a light enough!! My little girls nursery did not reopen after lock down and Jane and team were very happy to accommodate her. I thought it might be a struggle for her to settle somewhere new as it had took months to settle at her previous setting but she was welcomed with such warmth that she didn't bat an eyelid at leaving me...by day 2. Thank you so much 💞
