Spring - Layfield, registered in 2016, operates within Layfield Primary School in Yarm and provides full-day care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 10 years, with 144 children currently on roll. The setting is open year-round from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and offers various session times.
With 15 dedicated childcare staff, including those with childcare degrees and early years professional status, the nursery provides a warm and welcoming environment where children are happy and settled. The effective key-person system ensures staff know children well, enabling them to plan a challenging curriculum and cater to individual needs, including babies' eating and sleeping patterns.
The setting also offers funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children.
