Inclusion & environment
The support for children with SEND is exemplary. The special educational needs and disabilities coordinator works closely with parents, professionals and staff to ensure that children receive tailored support to make the progress they are capable of. The guidance given to staff is highly comprehensive and enables them to fully ensure the provision is inclusive for children. As a result, children with SEND develop exceedingly well from their starting points.
Children have tremendous fun outdoors while digging and exploring, balancing on walkways and running about the space. Babies giggle with staff as they slide down the equipment into low-level water. Staff are highly skilled and meticulously arrange and adapt the environments specifically for the current needs and interests of children.
St Andrews Nursery has been absolutely exceptional, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Our son has attended since he was just 8 months old and is now leaving at 3 years to start his next school journey. The staff are truly amazing — caring, kind, and dedicated beyond words. From the very beginning, we always felt completely confident that our son was not only safe, but genuinely loved and nurtured. They have supported him every step of the way, helping him grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity while encouraging his learning and development in such a natural and joyful way. The environment at St Andrews is warm, welcoming, and stimulating, and the relationships the staff build with both the children and parents are outstanding. Communication has always been excellent, and it has been so reassuring to see how well they understand and support each child as an individual. We are endlessly grateful for everything St Andrews Nursery has done for our son and for us as a family. The foundations they have helped build will stay with him for life. We will always look back on our time here with enormous appreciation and fond memories. Thank you, St Andrews — you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
