The dedicated team of 11 staff members, 8 of whom hold appropriate early years qualifications, ensures children feel confident and settled. The nursery fosters independence skills, for example, by encouraging children to use the water station.
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to be motivating and stimulating, incorporating children's needs and interests, and staff adeptly support children's language development through stories, rhymes, and engaging conversations. Star Kids Children's Nursery focuses on ensuring children are well-prepared for their transition to school, nurturing creativity, social skills and a love of reading through activities like regular visits to the local library.
The setting also places a strong emphasis on effective safeguarding practices, with robust systems for staff recruitment, training, and regular risk assessments.

Still feel angry I ever sent my son here many months on from pulling him out despite paying their £50 registration fee for doing funded hours and £40 lunch fee upfront. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE IF THEY HAVE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS OR ALLERGIES !! Please read below- My child is Muslim and I was told the nursery was meat free by the manager (I would’ve been happy to provide my child a pack lunch instead) and the first day my child was given sausages on the second day chicken. The manager herself told me they’d given him chicken when I arrived to collect him and being surprised I asked wasn’t the nursery meat free ? To which she stumbled and stuttered and eventually said it was vegetarian chicken. So I asked the other parents and they told me the nursery is not meat free. I took my son home and HE HAD BEEN LEFT IN THE SAME NAPPY ALL DAY WHICH WAS BURSTING AT ITS SEAMS WITH URINE. I called the nursery as a prospective parent and the manager herself on the phone said we give children beef, chicken and fish for lunch. I can only imagine what this neglect would have costed to a child with severe allergies. THE LIES WERE SO UNNECESSARY !!! SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL SETTING. Nobody knew what hours my child was supposed to be doing and he never had an assigned key person. The settling in process was brutal to any child’s emotional well-being where they are snatched at the door from the parent and taken into a room full of kids for a whole day. I should have reported this setting to ofsted for their NEGLECT AND SCAMMY WAYS. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. Still shaking my head at the thought of what my child probably had to endure under their care for two full days. EDIT- The manager and owner who responded below is the same person who had told me the nursery is meat free. Please explain why you fed my child chicken and proceeded to lie about it. His paperwork in the nursery clearly stated vegetarian ONLY. And you are further lying about what you apparently told me when on the phone you admitted to feeding him chicken. nobody was bitter about the money I never even asked for it on pulling my child out of your care, you offered this and I accepted. YOU phoned me and my son’s father in an extremely unprofessional and rude manner making derogatory religious remarks further discrediting yourself and giving full reasons to land yourself sued in court as a registered children’s provider. But given your track record you would lie about this aswell. In my lifetime of working in school offices and handling complaints I have NEVER come across a manager of a setting attacking someone’s religion or God. I’ve also NEVER come across any nursery with no graduated settling in process building up to doing 7 hours a day. My child is well settled into a nursery that actually cares about his well-being. It’s strange how in despite 10 years of the setting being open there are no policies and procedures documents to be found on the site nor given to parents. The rest of the staff at the setting were good to deal with.
Read on GoogleMy child has been going for over a year and has developed very well and learnt a lot from the club. They're sad to leave when I pick them up. The staff are kind and listen to feedback, and have been very supportive while potty training which has made the process much easier. The food they serve is fresh and varied, they play in the garden and go for walks to the town library and park. In all, it's a great service and you get a lot for your money especially compared with other nurserys.
Read on GoogleThe owners and staff work very hard on constant improvement both in childcare and the premises. I have used the nursery for three of my children and I have always relied on knowing that I can express our needs or concerns too. They are very reasonable in fees and placed centrally which helps the busy parents when getting to work. They always listen to parents and are not rigid like some places can be. My children are and have been happy there. I would definitely recommend them warmly.
Read on GoogleOverall very pleased with the care my child is getting. She's well looked after and comes home showing new skills, songs and words she's learnt. The staff are helpful and caring, and I've seen lots of improvements over the past two years my child has been attending.
