What it's like to attend

Children thoroughly enjoy their time at this nurturing pre-school, interacting very well with caring staff and receiving lots of loving care. Inspector highlights

  • The manager and her deputy work closely together and plan the curriculum well, supporting staff daily with regular professional dialogues.
  • Staff plan daily outdoor outings and spend long periods of time in the pre-school's well-designed allotment, helping children learn about the natural world and road safety.
  • Staff know children and their families very well, using valuable information from parents to identify individual needs and interests to help new children settle quickly.
  • Children benefit from consistently good teaching from staff to help them develop an understanding of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and learn excellent hygiene and self-care skills.
  • The provider and managers are very passionate about the pre-school, constantly looking at how they can improve, and have worked to provide an outside space for children's safe physical development and growing areas.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff use valuable information from parents to identify children's individual needs and interests, providing resources and books based on these to inspire children's developing language and communication skills.

Outdoor space

Staff plan daily outdoor outings to give children plenty of fresh air and exercise, including "nature" and "listening" walks. Children spend long periods in the pre-school's well-designed allotment, learning about the natural world, caring for living things, and road safety.
