Stepping Stones Montessori Nursery, established in 1996 and under consistent management since its inception, is located within the Church of God of Prophecy on Kitto Road. The nursery can accommodate up to 29 children, ranging in age from 6 months to 5 years.

Their mission is to provide outstanding childcare, facilitate parents' return to education or employment, and actively engage with the local community by fostering racial equality, non-discriminatory practices, and inclusive provisions. They are committed to ensuring all children access a comprehensive curriculum, are treated as individuals, have their needs met, are encouraged to become independent, and enjoy equal opportunities across all areas of the curriculum and provision.

The nursery also strives to be a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and their families, reflecting the diversity of the local and wider community. They operate from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, year-round, with closures for bank holidays, one week at Easter, two weeks in August, and seven working days over Christmas.

The school day officially commences at 9:00 AM. The nursery features a Montessori class for children aged two to five, and a dedicated toddler unit for infants from 6 months old.

Children enrolling in the toddler unit must be at least 6 months old. Once a child reaches two years old, they transition to the Montessori class or withdraw from the nursery with proper notice.

Admissions are accepted throughout the year, depending on availability.
