How they support every child

SEND provision

Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who face barriers to learning and/or wellbeing, make some progress from their starting points. However, leaders have not ensured that staff have a clear understanding of the curriculum for these children, and staff have not accessed training to help them effectively support children in this area. Leaders have introduced some speech and language activities to support children's speech development, but this does not go far enough to meet individual needs.

EAL / language support

The setting welcomes all children into an inclusive environment. Leaders and staff gather information from parents during induction, though this information is not always effectively used to plan and implement support. Some speech and language activities have been introduced to support children's speech development, but these efforts need to be expanded to meet individual needs more comprehensively.
