Tewin Under Fives Pre-School, established in 2016, provides a welcoming and nurturing environment for children aged two to three years old in Tewin. 30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, during term-time only.

With an overall effectiveness rating of "Good", the pre-school demonstrates a strong commitment to children's well-being and development. SEND provision

Leaders work in close partnership with parents and external agencies to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Support plans and specific interventions are in place, such as a visual timetable to help children understand the routine of the day. Any additional funding the setting receives is used to support children's individual needs.

Cant recommend Tewin Under 5s highly enough - it is a warm and nurturing environment where the staff get to know and understand each child's individual character and needs to create an environment in which they can thrive. From being a timid, quiet little boy, my son has grown hugely in confidence during his year at Under 5s - it has prepared him perfectly for starting primary school. In particular, the speech and language support is great (and hugely appreciated!).

A small, friendly and warm preschool. The supportive and caring staff work tirelessly (and collaboratively with parents) to ensure children are safe and happy. My son has made considerable progress due to their learning through play ethos and nurturing environment. Thank you very much Tewin Under Fives.

I cannot recommend Tewin Under Fives enough, my daughter attended for 2 years and enjoyed every day. She always went in and came home with a smile on her face, learning something new every day. It's a lovely environment where all the children are well cared for and come out prepared for reception. Thank you so much to Mel and the team!

I cannot recommend Tewin Under 5's pfreschool enough. Mel and Co are excellent their positivity, kindness and attention to detail really makes this a special place for children to thrive. My little boy excelled here and the staffs caring and attentive nature was key here. The setting is lovely with lots of learning space inside and a lovely outdoor play area to explore. I cannot thank them enough for the positive early year start you have given my little boy.

My little one has had an incredible 2 years at Tewin Under 5’s. Starting not long after lockdown it was a very new environment for him, but all of the care and kindness that was shown to him helped him settle so well and it didn’t take long for him to feel at home, and even ask to attend holiday club during the summer! The team at Tewin Under 5’s are so in tune with the needs of the children and always have amazing activities planned for them, especially around festive seasons. Tewin Under 5’s is an amazing setting and I would definitely recommend it.
