How they support every child

SEND provision

The nursery provides excellent support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The well-qualified special educational needs coordinator provides tailored support for children, creating and implementing small interventions such as sensory experiences. Staff work closely with other professionals to share valuable information, ensuring children with SEND receive early and ongoing support.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact on children's learning. Older children plan their own play and learn how to manage and assess risk as 'risk rangers' outdoors, problem-solving in the outdoor space.

My little boy Jack loved going to this nursery and had his last day here today.. His vocabulary ,toilet training, social interaction came on leaps on bounds. The only thing that I didn't like about this nursery was you are not allowed to go in and I think this is a big shame i couldn't see where my child played or interacted with others. Also this had a big impact on developing realtionships with my sons keyworker as other staff members would answer the door at drop off and pick up..

The team at ducklings look after my daughter Erin. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting and has learnt so much. She enjoys it and the staff are great with her. Would 100% recommend this nursery

My two littles attend here and I cannot fault them at all. Every single staff member is so kind and approachable, they go above and beyond for the kids and nothing is too much trouble. I miss my littles terribly whilst working so I would love it if I knew everything they did in the day, but frankly I'd rather the staff be as hands on and amazing with the kids as they are rather than filling in update books daily. I never doubt this is the right nursery for my girls - they love it so much most days they don't even wave goodbye! A credit to their staff completely.
