The Haig Day Nursery, situated in Bulford, is an Ofsted-registered facility accommodating up to 65 children. They welcome children aged 6 months to 5 years and operate 50 weeks a year, closing for two weeks at Christmas and on Bank Holidays.

The nursery provides tailored settling-in sessions for new families, with the duration determined collaboratively between parents, the room Senior, and the child's key person, ensuring a smooth transition into nursery life. The curriculum focuses on creating a nurturing and homely environment where children feel accepted.

The Haig Day Nursery accepts various government funding schemes, including the universal 15 hours for 3- and 4-year-olds, 30 hours extended funding for working parents, and the Better 2gether Funding for vulnerable two-year-olds. The nursery prioritises safeguarding, with designated leads and deputies in place to support this commitment.

They also provide parents with access to essential documents, including their Curriculum Intent and Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults policies, through their Parents Section.

What it's like

Children are happy, safe and secure. They have developed warm and trusting bonds with their key person and the staff team. Staff are attentive to the children's needs and support them in a calm and nurturing way.
