Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities well. They work with other professionals and implement targeted learning plans. Children at risk of delay in language skills benefit from small group work and planned one-to-one sessions with staff. Overall, children make good progress from their starting points; however, there is scope for staff to increase support and interactions for these children during non-planned play and routines, to further enhance their communication skills.

Outdoor space

In the inviting outdoor areas, children are imaginative as they play in their builders' yard and mud kitchen, cooperatively collecting bricks in wheelbarrows for constructions. Older children hone their large-muscle skills, running freely, playing with balls, and riding wheeled toys.

Little Ripley Tudor Close. Absolutely amazing nursery, I have had 2 children go through all stages of the nursery from babies at 6 months old to graduation at 4 years old! I cannot recommend them enough! I will miss all of the staff who I have known and who have helped raise my youngest 2 children for the past 8 years! Thank you!! Kerry Pritchard

As part of my CPD training I went to visit this fantastic nursery today and would like to thank Vanessa and her team for giving me tour of this warm and rich environment with highly trained practitioners who ensure that every child's needs are recognised and supported accordingly. I was blown away with the huge range of toys and activities which are planned around the interests of the children to build a sustainable environment for each child to explore. Thank you Ruth for welcoming me and now I can share my experience with my colleagues and pupils who are studying Child Development in school.

My son has been going to Little Ripley since he was 8 months old. They have consistently been fantastic with the provision, care and communication. He loves going and it makes a huge difference knowing he will always be given the best of care and attention. The staff are incredibly calm, friendly and understanding. I’m so pleased with Little Ripley and would recommend to anyone.

We switched to this nursery in the lockdown period, they made the transition as easy as possible for my daughter. Activities are good fun, my daughter has progressed loads since being here. She has made lots of friends and is always happy to go to nursery.
