The Lloyd Park Centre, located in a scenic part of Lloyd Park, is a dynamic childcare and activity hub specifically designed for children. Developed by local families over four decades ago, the centre is deeply integrated into its community, providing various support services for families, including BSL interpretation for deaf children, a community living room, events, and SEND support sessions for parents.

The centre offers childcare for children aged 6 months to 4 years, with both full- and part-time options, as well as sessional provisions for 2-4 year olds during term time. Additionally, it runs a Teatime Club for primary school children with pick-up from Winns Primary School, and a Holiday Club during school breaks for primary school age children.

The centre operates Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5:50 pm and has an Ofsted rating of "Good" as of September 2022.

SEND provision

The special educational needs and disabilities coordinator works effectively in partnership with outside agencies and parents to ensure all children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive good support. They ensure that additional funding for children is used well to target their specific needs.

Outdoor space

Children learn in lively environments, both indoors and outdoors, which are well laid out and support all children's learning age-appropriately. Children confidently explore the large, creative outdoor environments, climbing and pulling themselves up onto large wooden boxes with staff encouragement.
