Appallingly neglectful My daughter started this nursery in September 2024 and prior to this i had multiple conversations with multiple staff around my daugthers food allergies yet after a number of incidents regarding her allergies and staff members not only lying about the care/supervision she had recided which hid the fact that no one noticed she was under their care for 3 hours having an allergic reaction and not only was I not notified but non of the necessary procedures was followed to ensure my daughters wellbeing considering they are unaware what she had eaten and are aware my child risks anaphylaxis but also becoming confrontational i had no choice but to complain in hopes of better my daugthers experience. Not only did we have incidents around allergies but we also had an incident were my daughters finger had gotten trapped in a gate the nail eventually lifted and died. A week after this i had staff ringing me to ask me what had happened to my daugthers finger only then for the same finger to become injured during their care and yet again when a member of staff left the fire door to close behind her and yet more lies continued as staff couldn'tdecide if it was the same finger or hand that got injured. I then raised this further as i was absolutely appalled at the level of care my child had recieved and the presentation from staff when dealing with concerned parents. After receiving a poor response from the nursery claiming they will renew their allergy training (training the clearly was failing) although prior to this the manager told me their allergy training was due to be renewed i confided in a private facebook allergy group purely to get advice around allergies and nursery and this had got back to the nursery. After this i had called to notify them my daugther would be late into nursery as i was trying to gather evidence of my daugthers allergies that they only requested 6 months after her starting and this was fine. I was allowed to drop my daugther off where she was sat and joined a group activity. While i was leaving i was asked to wait in the office where i was met with complete unprofessionalism from the head of the nursery raising her voice to argue with me acusing me of slander. I couldn't believe the tone she was speaking to me in and attempted to leave where i was then told that i couldnt care for my child because i keep returning her to the nursery. I informed them that i would be taking this to ofsted and as a result i was asked to remove my child, during this staff charged forward to the toddler room were i asked them not to touch my child and that i would collect her, it was then that the staff members carried this argument on into the toddler room accusing me of slander where i had to defuse the situation again and tell them that it was not acceptable to be doing this around the children and staff threatened to call the police. This should of been dealt with away from the children and to ignore their emotional wellbeing and try to continue to argue around this is a failure to safeguard and protect their emotional wellbeing, it should not be down to a parent to try and defuse the situation around the toddlers. This conversation could of been had over the phone and i cant see why they would allow me to bring my child and sit her with her friends if they had the intention of asking me to remove my child from the nursery from the off so i can only imagine it had to be out of spite, even claiming i couldn't care for my child as i had returned her to the nursery, yet no attempts was made to check the welfare or my child. I am infurated on behalf of my daugther that she is the one suffering the consequences of their failures by removing her from the nursery when this should of been dealt with appropriately from day 1, this should of been dealt with, with my daughters best intrest at mind on both behalfs. The rainbow nursery priorities themselves and are not afraid to lie their way out of it.

An absolutely fantastic nursery, my daughter loves going. The staff are lovely and very helpful, I would highly recommend.
