Our ethos

Our nurseries all offer high-quality care and education in a happy, clean environment, with highly qualified staff, each of our settings is individual just like our children. Children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, allowing them to discover new things each day. Our children learn through play in child-led activities, allowing them to develop and grow independently.

What it's like

Managers and staff have worked extremely hard to enhance the quality of the environment for children, who benefit from exciting and purposeful play areas that help them to regulate their feelings and behaviours in a calm atmosphere. All children benefit from a curriculum specifically designed to strengthen their emotional development, and they show that they feel safe and secure, separating easily from their parents on arrival and eagerly greeting their friends.

What it's like to attend

Managers and staff have worked extremely hard to enhance the quality of the environment for children, who benefit from exciting and purposeful play areas that help them to regulate their feelings and behaviours in a calm atmosphere. All children benefit from a curriculum specifically designed to strengthen their emotional development, and they show that they feel safe and secure, separating easily from their parents on arrival and eagerly greeting their friends.

Inspector highlights

  • The quality of interactions between staff and children is strong and is occasionally outstanding, including specific focused time in an on-site wooded area.
  • The dedicated manager is passionate about the setting for children and staff alike, placing a strong emphasis on promoting the well-being of all, and evaluates the setting very well, gathering views to enhance and improve.
  • Risk assessments are prioritised, and children are supported to understand how to keep themselves safe.
  • Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are very well supported, with staff using individualised plans and small-group focused activities, leading to good progress in all areas of development.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are very well supported. Staff use individualised plans for children to help them to understand the nursery routine. Children benefit from small-group focused activities that help them to develop their social skills. Children show that they make good progress in all areas of their development.

Outdoor space

Children use clipboards and pencils to note how many different insects they can find in an on-site wooded area. They make comparisons between insects when using magnifying glasses. Staff offer encouragement as children learn to climb steps to a slide in the outside area, and children learn to coordinate containers full of water to fill drainpipes and tubes, laughing as they watch the water rush down.

We have used this nursery for almost 3 years now with my eldest and my youngest has just started going too. They both absolutely love it and the staff are amazing! I cannot recommend it enough!
