Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, they are no longer allowed into the setting. However, this has not effected them feeling involved in their children's learning and progress. They describe excellent communication and feedback, and praise how personal, professional and nurturing the staff are in understanding their children's needs

Our son has special needs and started at Woodland Nursery when he was 2.5 years old, not speaking at all. Just a few weeks after joining, he began singing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” — it brought tears to our eyes. From that moment, we knew this nursery was something truly special. He absolutely thrived in the outdoor, forest-based environment. It was the perfect fit for him — far better than a traditional nursery setting. We always felt he was safe, loved, and deeply cared for. The team’s approach to forest nursery is of the highest standard. Everything they recommended for our son worked, because they truly paid attention to him — even when he couldn’t express himself. The staff — Tracy, Keith, Amal, and Charlotte — have been incredible from day one. They were always there to comfort us on tough days and supported our son with genuine care, patience, and passion. Their knowledge, dedication, and availability made such a difference, not only for our child but for us as parents too. Even on the difficult days, they never gave up on him. Tracy supported us all the way from his very first day right through to his transition to Reception. I have never written a more heartfelt review — but it’s the least I can do to thank this amazing team for everything they’ve done for our son and our family. Woodland Nursery will always have a special place in our hearts. 🌿💚
Read on GoogleWe absolutely loved this nursery. It was a wonderful experience for our son and we are so grateful to Tracy, Keith and the gang for their care and support. It is a beautiful setting and they genuinely care for the children they look after. We really felt they went above and beyond for our lad and provided him with skills and interests that he wouldn’t have got elsewhere. He started on a snowy day in January and never looked back! I wish this kind of provision was available more widely as we have now left London. However, people as kind as Tracy and Keith are hard to find.
Read on GoogleWe honestly couldn’t have asked for a better nursery! My daughter started when she was 2 years and 9 months and loved it from her very first day. The staff are just amazing,so caring, kind, and really take the time to get to know each child. She’s learned so much there and became such a confident, happy little girl. They always worked closely with us too, which made it feel like a real team effort. She’s now moved on to school, but we’ll always be so grateful for everything the nursery did for her. It’s such a special place and we miss it already!
Read on GoogleOur Child has been in both sites and I can hand on heart say this was the best invesment for her before going to Primary school. Her articulation, independence & eagerness to learn has all been noticed in her new school and we would say Forest school had a huge part to play The owners are on site and involved every single day which is so rare to find. Every day there is feedback on their progress & the team is so small that the children genuinely feel like they are a part of a family. Thank you Tracy & Keith. We can not wait for our 2nd to start
Read on GoogleMy daughters had a wonderful time at The Woodland Nursery, I felt confident they were happy and safe and overall they had a magical time there. Andreea and Charlee at the Kidbrooke site are particularly amazing!!!
