Staff are dedicated to supporting children in their learning and preparing them for their move to school, fostering a fun and lively environment. Children are encouraged to lead their own play and can choose from a wide range of resources in the bright indoor areas.
A significant aspect of the pre-school's provision is its commitment to outdoor learning; children can enjoy outdoor play in most weathers in their dedicated outside space and also have access to the adjoining school playground and fields, allowing them to run, play, and develop their large muscles and stamina. The pre-school understands the importance of working with other professionals to support children's specific needs, and tailoring support to parents as required.
Staff are noted for getting to know children as individuals, supporting their interests, and promoting creativity and imagination by introducing them to artists. Physical development is also a priority, with specific skills training such as walking on low stilts and throwing beanbags.
The pre-school aims to help children make friends and develop independence with the support of sensitive and caring staff.
