Thrumpton Kids Clubs, operating since 2003 with support from a Lottery Commission grant, offers a nurturing and secure environment for children aged 2 to 11 years. As an Ofsted-registered provider, it adheres to high standards of care and education, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for children up to 5 years old.
The clubs provide tailored activities and support suitable for early developmental stages through to primary school years. Both pre-school and holiday club provisions are accessible to all children in the specified age range, regardless of whether they attend Thrumpton Primary Academy.
The team consists of qualified and experienced staff dedicated to fostering a stimulating environment for every child. Full-day options are available for nursery-aged children, and all sessions require advance payment, with booking flexibility for daily, weekly, or block sessions.
The club also supports families by providing information on various free childcare funding options available through the government for eligible two, three, and four-year-olds.
What it's like
Children are excited and happy when they arrive at setting. They separate from their parents with confidence and quickly join their friends to play. Staff provide comfort to children who are new to the setting, providing them with cuddles and reassurance and using information from parents to offer new children their favourite toys.
