Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents feel that their children are extremely happy and very well cared for in this nursery.
They describe the nursery as a 'magical' place for their children to learn.
Inclusion & environment
Staff make sure that all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), receive the support and guidance they need to thrive and grow in confidence in all areas of learning. The parents of children with SEND are especially complimentary about the work of staff and leaders, appreciating how the nursery ensures that all children are fully supported to make the best possible progress.
Outdoors, the children develop important physical skills as they excitedly perform egg and spoon and hurdle races as part of their topic of work, the Olympics. Children develop their body strength and coordination skills as they run between cones and manoeuvre their way along balance beams. They also enjoy using the outdoor campsite to prepare and mix ingredients to make magical potions and cakes.
Tidbury Green Private Nursery is simply exceptional. Our son attended the nursery as a child and absolutely thrived there. Fast forward many years, and when we were fortunate enough to welcome our daughter Florence three years ago, the very first thing we did was put her name down on the long waiting list – without hesitation. What is truly remarkable is the consistency. Many of the same staff who cared for our son are still at the nursery today, and now Florence is benefiting from that same experience, warmth and dedication. She is thriving, confident and genuinely happy, which says everything. The nursery is Ofsted Outstanding, and it shows in every aspect of what they do. Even more incredibly, the ownership is still the same, with Louise and Adriana heading up the nursery and still on hand to see families at the door each day. That level of involvement and care is incredible. The staff feel like family and always make Florence, Charlotte, myself and our two other boys feel so welcome. It’s not just a nursery – it truly is a family. We feel incredibly proud that Florence attends Tidbury Green Private Nursery. I genuinely do not believe you would find a better nursery. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Paul and Charlotte Partridge

Read on GoogleI couldn’t have asked for a better nursery for my children than Tidbury Green Private Nursery. My children absolutely loved their time there. Every single member of staff was amazing — so caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the children’s happiness and development. The nursery created such a warm and nurturing environment where my children felt safe, confident, and excited to learn every day. I really noticed how much they grew during their time there, both socially and academically, and they were incredibly well prepared and ready for school when the time came. It’s clear how much hard work and love goes into everything the staff do, and I will always be grateful for the care they gave my children. I genuinely miss being part of the nursery now they have both left. Thank you to everyone at Tidbury Green Private Nursery for giving my children such a wonderful start.

The confidence, independence and learning they have gained has been incredible to watch, and the nursery has given them the most amazing start in life. Every member of staff genuinely cares about the children, creating a safe, nurturing and happy environment where they can thrive. It never feels like “just” a nursery. It’s going to be so hard to top the care and education they have received here So grateful to the Tidbury Team xxxx
Read on GoogleI honestly couldn’t recommend Tidbury Green Nursery highly enough. Both of my girls went there, and I truly feel it gave them the best possible start in life. It’s such an outstanding nursery. The outdoor space is absolutely fabulous, you can really see how much thought and care has gone into creating an environment where children can explore, play and just be themselves. But more than anything, it’s the people. There’s a real sense that they genuinely care about every child, and that makes all the difference. It feels warm, nurturing and safe, which as a parent is everything. I’m so grateful my girls had their early years there. Thank you everyone Angie
