How they support every child
SEND provision
Leaders and staff are committed to supporting all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They work closely with parents and external professionals to ensure accurate assessments capture children's emerging needs. Tailored care and targeted support plans are in place to prepare children for their next stages of learning. Leaders support families in accessing additional funding for specific resources.
Outdoor space
Children benefit from daily outdoor play and walks in the local community, supporting physical development and wellbeing. Older children confidently run, balance, and climb during daily outdoor play. However, resources and equipment in the garden area are not suitable for all children, and staff lack the skills or knowledge to adapt the environment for all children's learning. Leaders have not reflected on how the garden provision supports children who prefer outdoor learning.

Tiddley Tots Nursery-Hertford is the best place for my one-year-old daughter. The staff are incredibly caring, welcoming, and professional. My child is happy, safe, and always excited to go. The nursery provides a stimulating environment with fun learning activities that really support development. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a loving and nurturing place for their little one.

Our toddler really loves going to nursery at Tiddly Tots, the staff are super friendly, welcoming and helpful. They keep us up to date with they’ve done during the day and share lovely photos of the great activities they get up to. We’ve already recommended it to friends :)

As parents sending your child to nursery is a very anxious time thankfully Tiddley tots has constantly through their actions reassured us that we made the right decision. Our daughter has blossomed at Tiddley tots. She has grown so much emotionally and socially. The staff are patient with any concerns we have even if not related to her time in the nursery. They are all friendly whilst still being professional. It's wonderful to see how everyone knows my daughters' name and will go out of their way to say hello. We appreciate the regular updates and photos we receive. One of the reasons we selected Tiddley tots was due to the nutritional food and sensory play she would receive. We also are consistently impressed by the engaging activities they provide. The sensory play has provided me with ideas to engage with my child which is an added plus. Thank you so much for caring for my daughter, you bring her so much joy and us so much comfort. We would thoroughly recommend it to any parents.

Our daughter has been at Tiddley Tots since she was 1, and in just a few short months we’ve seen her grow and develop so much. From day one, Chandnee and the team made us feel at ease with their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The nursery is also kept very clean and has a lovely atmosphere. She absolutely loves going to nursery and happily goes in each morning, excited to see her key workers. The environment is warm, nurturing, and full of opportunities for her to learn and explore. Her confidence and sociability have blossomed, and it’s clear she feels happy and secure in their care. The communication with parents is excellent. The app is amazing, with daily updates, photos, and notes that let us share in her day and see how everything is planned. The reports we’ve received on her progress are thorough and show how well they know our little one. We also love the personal touches, like the crafts and cards for special occasions—these thoughtful details really highlight the dedication of the team. We couldn’t be happier with the care our daughter receives at Tiddley Tots. It’s such a comfort knowing she is safe, supported, and loved.

Naturally as a first time mum I was nervous to leave my daughter at a nursery, but Tiddley Tots has been amazing. The staff are great and the daily updates are very detailed. Most importantly though, my daughter is SO happy here! It’s lovely to see her eager to go in, and smiling as she comes out! Thank you Tiddley Tots!!!
